ABOUT US

Art of Heidy Lopez is an independent art company that provides services in teaching art, art party events, commissioning, and freelance work. Art of Heidy Lopez specializes in making comics, character designing and illustrations but are open to different opportunities with new and different clients.


ABOUT THESE TERMS

In these terms,”artist”, “we”,”us”, or “our” means Art of Heidy Lopez Ltd. In these terms, “you” means the client paying for the services.

Commissions

  • By booking our service you agree to full payment when services are fully rendered by the artist.

  • A 50% deposit is to be paid by client for all commissions requested before any work is to begin by the artist. 

  • All commissions are to be paid at the agreed deadline made between the client and the artist. 

  • A limit number of three (3) revisions can be made before the final check in period. 

  • Additional fees will be added if you request additional revisions past the revision limits and/or final check in.

    • If revisions are requested past the revision limits and/or final check in between client and artist, you must accept the commission past the original deadline. No exceptions. 

    • A new deadline must be made if additional revisions are made and/or past the final check in.

Art Party Services

  • Consultation must be made before booking services. All consultations are made by phone or in-person meetings at an appropriate third-space.

  • You must be 18-years-old or older in order to reserve and pay for party services.

  • By paying for our services, you agree that all participants are at least 12-years-old and can independently follow all instructions from the artists.

  • No aid or assistance will be provided for participants during the time of the party service.

    • In the event of a participant needing assistance due to medical needs (either physical or mental) an aid can assist and share the participant’s station without an additional charge. 

  • Each of your participants must sign a consent form agreeing to being photographed and/or video recorded or deny being photographed and/or recorded.

  • You must give us at least three (3) weeks notice in advance to insure reservation and service.

    • In the event of a last minute reservation being agreed between artist and client, meaning a reservation is made before 3 weeks, a $100 Urgency Fee is added.

  • Full payment is required to reserve services.

    • A 100% refund is available for a two (2) notice week cancellation 

    • A 50% refund is available for a lone (1) notice week cancellation.

    • A 25% refund is available for a 24 hour cancellation notice.

    • A 0% refund for cancellations under 24 hours notice.

  • Payment plans can be requested to reserve services.

    • A deposit of $100 is to be made in order to begin a payment plan with us.

    • Payment plans must be paid until completion, failure to do so may result in legal action.

  • If you want reservations with over 12 participants, you must complete a custom contract with the artist in person. 

    • A 50% deposit is required in order to reserve a party service for a group of 13 or more people.

    • 100% of payment must be made the day of the reservation service and before the service begins.

  • We are not responsible for the behavior of the client, the client’s participants and client’s guests during the party service. 

  • All equipment, tables, chairs, art supplies and/or materials must be returned to us. You only keep the artwork you and your participants create. 

  • Any equipment, tables, chairs, art supplies and/or materials damaged or missing during the party service will result in a replacement fee. 

  • We are allowed to take photos of each event planned unless participants sign a form stating they do not wish to be photographed and/or video recorded.

  • You are responsible for informing your guests and participants that they will be photographed and/or recorded when participating in the party services. 

  • Consent forms can be downloaded here and will be available as a physical copy if requested during the time of the event. 

  • After the conclusion of each party event, we are responsible for cleaning up our designated area only. 

  • You are responsible for providing an area for the following

    • Two (2) Tables 6ft x 2.5ft 

    • 12 Chairs

    • Projector 

    • Screen for projector

    • Speaker

    • Art Easel

    • Horse easel

    • Chair Stool 

  • You are responsible for giving us access to a sink, running water and disposable bin.

  • For DRINK & DRAW only: 

    • We do not provide alcoholic beverages with party packages.

    • We are not legally responsible for the amount of alcoholic beverages consumed if you decided to serve alcoholic beverages during the party services. Drink responsibly. 

    • We can offer coffee bar stations for an additional fee.

    • Coffee bar station fees vary depending on location of party service as we coordinate with local coffee businesses within the area.
